Content Editor

Job Description
The Content Editor is tasked with ensuring that all the content maintains a high standard in quality, which will be identified with the business’s brand. In the performance of this function, the Content Editor proofreads and edits material through their various stages all the way from conceptualization to their publication.

Required Qualifications

Education: A candidate for the position must have a Bachelor’s degree in English, Business Administration, Public Relations, International Relations, Marketing, Psychology, or any other related filed. An equivalent of this requirement in working experience is also acceptable.

Experience: The candidate for this position must also have proven experience of 2 years working in a capacity where he wrote and edited stories for a business with accuracy and clarity. A suitable candidate will also have work experience working in a publication setting, preferably print publications. The Content Editor will also have proven experience utilizing current English usage and research standards. He will also have had substantial experience in proofreading, content layout, production, and audience engagement measurement concepts.

A suitable candidate will have had vast experience in the use of and navigation of key social media platforms, for example, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Youtube, and Instagram.
