Intern Assistant Accountant

We are a CPA Public Practice located in the Adelaide CBD. We provide taxation, bookkeeping & accounting services to the general public.

Because of the increasing enquiries from new graduates and overseas finance immigrant, we are now offering an internship position in Adelaide Branch.Before the internship, our CFA and CPA qualified Senior Accountant will provide you with a range of practical training to make sure you can work on our processed real-life data. This can be the start of your working experience in the local Accounting industry.

Your Internship responsibilities will include:

·GL reconciliations

·Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable

·BAS lodgement

·Payroll set up and process

·Inventory Processing and Year End Stock Take & Adjustment

·Updating Prepayment Schedule & Post General Journal

·Update Fixed Asset Register & Post Depreciation Journal

·Accrue to Budget (Medium Size Co. Practice)

·Cost Centre Reporting

·Accounting System Comparison: SAP, Reckon & Xero

·Individual Tax Return & Company Tax Return

What types of candidates will we consider?

·Basic Bookkeeping/ Accounting Knowledge (Certificate/ Diploma/Uni Students/ Degree/Postgraduates/ administrative clerk), or Overseas working experience, would like to start local accounting career

·Attention to details / Self-motivated

·Team-work Spirit (Team project)
